Abstract

This is the last part of a three-part article on the management of panic disorder in Davanloo's intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy (IS-TDP). In this article the author will present on the process of the trial therapy after the partial unlocking of the unconscious, with particular emphasis on the technique of converting a pathological mourning into an acute grief reaction. This will be highlighted by a step-by-step analysis of the remainder of the interview with the patient presented in Part I and II. © 1996 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
