Abstract

Abstract Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) is a common presentation to primary care and has large direct and indirect effects on the UK economy. The purpose of this review is to highlight the management strategies for GORD among military personnel in primary and secondary care. Particular emphasis is placed on the outcomes from each form of treatment and the possible impact on deployability, in keeping with current UK military medical policy and guidance.
