Abstract
Introduction The Fibula Free Flap (FFF) is widely accepted and used in Head and Neck reconstruction, ever evolving and advancing, with excellent success rates and low comorbidities. Major variations in the fibular neurovascular anatomy have been studied and may preclude the success and utility of a fibula free flap. Neural anatomical variations are not routinely evaluated preoperatively, but variations can alter the preferred perioperative dissection, and increase morbidity and complication rates.
