Abstract

Abstract A high-dose radiation technique for the management of inoperable carcinoma of breast is described, and the results of the treatment of 385 consecutive cases are outlined. The morbidity is considerable. Supervoltage radiotherapy can usually arrest the primary disease and cure a substantial number of cases. The quality of life enjoyed by the survivors is good.
