Abstract
The work I would like to report to you to-day was carried out in the Clinicopathological Research Laboratories of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. It forms part of a wider enquiry into the phenomenon of primary hormone dependence in human breast cancer which is a characteristic of approximately 50 per cent. of these growths.
