Abstract

Pajoge and female dancers contain interestingness. On the one hand, as a female dancer often contains negative stigma in Bugis society. However, pajoge as a dance remains in demand and even becomes a learning material in vocational high schools as well as in the State College Dance Arts Department in Makassar. Pajoge is known as a dance that lives in the Bugis community of South Sulawesi. In the past, this dance was presented at the royal family wedding. Pajoge dancers come from ordinary people chosen by the royal family (ana' sack) with special criteria. Once elected, they will stay in the palace, trained by indo pajoge to be the perfect dancer and woman. This research will explore the structure of the pajoge show to explore the values in it. The study used is the analysis of text and context. The analysis of the text will observe the structure that builds a dance and the whole.
