Abstract

This article is aimed at studying the socio-psychological problem of lone fathers. The factors that lead to the occurrence, formation of incomplete paternal families (widowhood, divorce, asocial behavior of women) are given in the examples. It is noted that factors leading to single fatherhood negatively affect the psychological and social status of a father. This phenomenon is considered both from the socio-psychological and legal point of view. Questions about the implementation of the basic rights, privileges and guarantees of single fathers in Kazakhstan are not left without attention.
