Abstract

Faraday's method was used to investigate the effect of temperature on the magnetic susceptibility of CrSi2 CrSi, Cr5Si3, and Cr3S'i in the range 20–800°C. It is shown that the Curie-Weiss law is valid for chromium monosilicide, while the susceptibility of the other suicides depends on temperature. Hypotheses are put forward regarding the possible interpretation of the experimental data obtained.
