Abstract
The magnetic structures of CePd 2Ge 2 and Ce 2Pd 3Ge 3 are determined by neutron powder diffraction. Both compounds show antiferromagnetic stacking of ferromagnetic planes of Ce moments, with moment values of 0.85 μ B (parallel to the stacking vector k ) and 1.25 μ B (perpendicular to k ), respectively.
