Abstract

We present a method for calculating the magnetic moment of Λ 3 H . Assuming a central ΛN interaction and a central np interaction including a tensor component, it is found that the contribution of the predominant spatially symmetric 2S state is decreased by the presence of a D-state component in the wavefunction.
