Abstract
From the approximately volume-limited Luminous Red Galaxy (LRG) sample of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 6 (SDSS DR6), we construct three LRG samples with different luminosities, which have nearly the same number density, to investigate the luminosity dependence of clustering properties of LRGs. We conclude that the luminosity dependence of clustering properties of galaxies is fairly complicated, and that there is no single tendency for clustering properties of galaxies to change with luminosity.
