Abstract

The low-temperature specific heat of the dilute superfluid solution of 3He in 4He was measured several years ago by Anderson et al.1 In order to analyze their data, these investigators used the Stoner expression2 for the specific heat of an ideal Fermi gas. In this work we reanalyze the same data with an improved expression based on the low-temperature equilibrium theory described by us in a recently published study.3
