Research Article| July 01 2020 The Long History of the 2017 Spotify “Fake Music” Scandal K. E. Goldschmitt K. E. Goldschmitt K. E. Goldschmitt is assistant professor of music at Wellesley College. Prior to Wellesley, Goldschmitt held research and teaching positions at the University of Cambridge, New College of Florida, and Colby College. They have published on Brazilian music, film music, the global media industries, circulation, and music technology. Their book, Bossa Mundo: Brazilian Music in Transnational Media Industries, was published by Oxford University Press in 2020.
