Abstract
A friend of ours, presently living abroad, wrote the other day: It's about time for an MR editorial on the recent turn of political events in various parts of the world—China, Indonesia, Africa, the Tricontinental Conference, Cuba: the 'socialist and anti-colonialist world.' Me, I'm upset and dejected, but then I suppose it's all a necessary part of the long haul.
