Abstract

Churches like other organizations often find themselves living in three-time-zones-past, present and future. All are important and one should not be ignored because of a busy schedule. ”A three-time-zone life requires a careful balancing act. If we spend all of our time in yesteryear, we become irrelevant. If we spend all of our time thinking about the future, we waste our heritage. If we spend all our time in the present, we abandon origins and possibilities. ”32 Let us be good stewards of our heritage by continuing to make history, record that history and preserve it so that we can learn from the past and celebrate our future as we continue to grow under the grace of God.
