Abstract
Discourse - one of the most popular terms of modern philology. In the dialectal texts of the ritual discourse on food, which is prepared for fasting, a large number of descriptive names. Nominations of food in dialect texts function in a diminutive manner. The analysis of the accompanying factors has shown the scope of the functioning of linguistic units in discourse, the role of dialectonics in the reproduction referent situation, illustrated two ways of presenting information - expressive and rational.
