Abstract

For the static linear wireless sensor networks deployed outside, it can be ensured that the initial energy of the node deployed is the same, but the distance between nodes cannot be guaranteed. In order to prolong the networks lifetime, this paper presents the optimization strategy of linear random wireless sensor networks based on mobile Sink. Firstly, the node energy consumption model of linear networks based on mobile Sink is given, and then a model of the lifetime maximization about the random linear networks is described, which ensures the networks lifetime is maximum via making use of the characteristics that the part of the nodes run the energy out at the same time and the remaining nodes energy consumption have left. As the implementation results shown, compared with the static random linear sensor network, the lifetime optimization strategy of linear wireless sensor networks described in this paper can extremely improve the networks lifetime.
