Abstract

World Wide Web technology is having profound implications for the development of all types of information and library services. This companion volume to Library and Information Professional's Guide to the Internet shows the reader actual implementations in a variety of information work settings. The guide takes an in-depth look into the technology of the WWW and its applications for information work, clearly explaining challenging and technical topics.
