Abstract
The study aimed to identify the level of aspiration and its relationship to academic achievement and some variables among the visually impaired students. To achieve this, the descriptive method was used, and the scale of level of aspiration developed by Abed (2015) was administered to the study sample which consisted of (66) students. The study revealed that there was a high level of aspiration among students, and there was no relationship between the level of aspiration and academic achievement. It also indicated that there were no differences attributed to gender, class, and severity of disability, but there was no age-related relationship. The study concluded with a number of recommendations and suggestions.

يعتبر الطموح مكونا مهما في شخصية الفرد ،وتزداد أهميته عندما يكون الفرد من ذوي الإعاقة البصرية، فيعمل كدافع لشحذ الهمم وترتيب الأفكار للارتقاء بمستوى الفرد ،ويعينه على تحقيق أهدافه في الحياة (أبــو العينين وعبدالنبي .)2018 ،وتحقيــق الفرد لأهدافه مرتبط بقدرته على تفعيل إمكاناته وقدراته الذاتية ،وقد بين كل من سيســالم ( ،)1997وشريف ( )2014أن الإعاقة البصرية تؤثر على الفرد نفسيا وســلوكيا كما تجعــل الطفل المعاق بحاجة ليجتهد بصورة مضاعفة حــى يغطي ما تحرمه منه الإعاقة؛ لذلــك فــإن فقد البصر يؤثر على مســتوى طموح الفرد كونه قد يعيق تحقيــق طموحاته أو يجعل الفرد بــا أهــداف في الحياة .وقد أكدت دراســة خياطــة ( ،)2015أحمد ( ،)2014راجعــي ( ،)2017والمصري ( )2011على أهمية دراســة مســتوى الطموح بكونه يؤثر على التنشــئة الاجتماعية وله علاقة بالميول المهنية وفاعلية الذات وقلق المســتقبل واتجاهات الطفل المعاق ،إضافة إلى نوعية الحياة ودافعية الإنجاز. شدة الإعاقة)؟ .4هل توجد علاقة في مستوى الطموح لدى الطلبة المعاقين بصريا بمعهد النور تعزى لمتغير العمر؟
