Abstract

Productive activity is the most important thing in human life. It is in the process of work that the most important features of the personality and a communist attitude toward work are shaped, a feeling of collectivism is developed, and the knowledge and habits required for production are perfected in the workers. However, work activity is by no means the sole area of active existence and development of the personality. In addition, free time - the portion of the worker's nonworking time that remains after time spent on various kinds of essential matters is subtracted - is of exceptional importance in the social, spiritual, and physical development of human beings. This time is utilized for the individual's intellectual, social, and physical improvement and for recreation and relaxation.
