L'A. examine les auteurs suivants: Dante Gabriel Rossetti (son Eden Bower), George MacDonald (son Lilith) pour la legende de Lilith| George Croly (son Salathiel), et George MacDonald (son Thomas Wingfold, Curate) pour la legende du Juif Errant.
