Abstract

Ukraine is among the countries with the largest quantity victims from field mines and others explosive devices. That demands from state authorities to conduct measures related to search, detection and disposal explosive items on the contaminated (probably contaminated) territory of Ukraine, water areas and objects infrastructure. Comprehensive and effective solution of problems is possible only by creation effective organizational and legal systems humanitarian demining using best international experience which should become important component part of State Strategy of anti-mining activities.
 The purpose of the article is to analyse the current state of legal regulation anti-mine activities in Ukraine and find out directions for implementation of international experience, in particular, the NATO member states, to create modern organizational and legal system of anti-mining activity in our the state.
 During the research the general scientific and special methods were applied, in particular methods of system analysis and synthesis, comparative legal methods etc.
 The analysis of current legislation anti-mining activities in Ukraine is done, the gaps and shortcomings of legal regulation are defined and directions of impact of international law on national standards using better international experience are formulated.
