Abstract
This article examines the legal foundation of a retailer transaction. A ten-question test is presented to introduce students to some of the interesting coverage areas of contract law and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). After each mini-case, true/false question in the exam has been answered and discussed, the authors discuss their experience with this exercise in the classroom. The paper's main objective is to present an interesting way in which the legal implications of a typical marketing transaction can be presented in the classroom.
