Abstract

Objective To investigate the layer training methods for new operating room nurses and to analyze the significance of this training.Methods The training for core competence was conducted in the new nursing staff by using layer training modes during probation and after probation.Results After training,the scores for knowledge and skills,sterilization capability,safety management,special practice,emergency coordination,and research ability were significantly improved(P<0.05). The satisfaction leveI for the new nurses was markedly increased in surgeons,anesthesiologists,and seniornurses(P<0.05).Conclusions Layer training for new operating room nurses can make the nurses adapt the working environment faster and improve the satisfaction level in health care and nursing care.
