Abstract
In this paper, we describe the latest activities to realize the ideal ICT (Information and Communication Technology) environment in Kyushu University. III (Information Infrastructure Initiative) is responsible for introducing, maintaining, and improving the ICT environment for all students and staff members in Kyushu Uni-versity. This is the report of our efforts about authentication sys-tem, e-mail system, new identification system for students, fire-wall, wireless LAN for education, BYOPCs, software blanket contract, and so on. As a result, we succeeded in improving the quality of our ICT services dramatically.
