Abstract
LAST WORDS: Coalition is the key to successful action. A citizen's coalition for a national health program can become a powerful political force, including organized and unorganized workers, farmers, professionals, and other middle class citizens; women, blacks, Hispanics, youths, senior citizens, and other minorities-in short, the majority of the people of our nation. Such a coalition can and will assure that the principle that health is a human right, not a privilege to be purchased in the marketplace, will yet be realized in the United States.
