Abstract
This essay deals with the ideas behind my photographic art work, including The Last Three of the Pack, 2013 (Pigment print transfer face mounted on wood, Variation II, 30 ×100 cm) and other fine-art photography projects. These ideas are related to a debate concerning the wolf population in Finland, our relationship with nature, anthropogenic changes in the environment, and the stories which have arisen from our relationship with the environment.
