Abstract
If Paracentrotus Lividus embryos at the 4–8 cell stage are dissociated into cells and prevented from reaggregating, an increase of at least 270% is observed in the RNA synthesis. Preliminary analyses indicate that the newly synthesized RNA is ribosomal RNA and histone messenger.
