Abstract
Invited for this month's cover is the work by Claudia Crestini and collaborators at Ca'Foscari University of Venice, Italy, and University of Insubria, Italy. The image shows the formation of low-molecular-weight compounds by the oxidative depolymerization of lignin by the laccase-Lig multienzymatic multistep system.
