Abstract

With the rapid increase of wind power installed capacity in power systems, wind power consumption has become one of the urgent problem of new energy sources. And the energy-intensive load has different levels of ability to participate in power grid regulation due to the characteristic of adjustment. This paper introduces a coordinated control system of wind power and energy-intensive load that mainly includes two parts: the main station and the sub-station. And the system can achieve coordinated control of a grid with high proportion of wind power and energy-intensive load. The main station of coordinated control system is set in the dispatch center, mainly realizing monitoring, substation control, data support, and effect evaluation. The sub-station of coordinated control system is set in the control center of energy-intensive enterprise, mainly realizing information exchange, energy-intensive load control and other functions. By constructing the system mentioned in this paper, energy-intensive load can participate in the coordinated control of a grid with high proportion of wind power, thus promoting wind power consumption.
