Abstract
A three-body formalism is used to study the reaction K −d → π − Λp for s-wave kaons. Special emphasis is given to the final-state Λp interaction near the ΣN threshold in order to examine the possible existence of a S = −1, 3 S 1 unstable dibaryon bound state.
