Abstract
The John Dewey Academy is described and discussed by Thomas Bratter, president. The school views its mission to provide intensive educational and therapeutic assistance to self‐destructive adolescents who are psychologically intact and have superior potential. Similar to other secondary schools, The John Dewey Academy wants to be judged by the reputations of those colleges that accept its graduates.
