Abstract

The Jiangjin Guanyinyan Yangtze River Bridge is a key structure on the second ring road of Chongqing city, China. The main bridge is a steel–concrete composite ladder-girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 436 m. The article presents the main design features and analysis of the bridge, including the pylon and foundation, steel–concrete composite ladder-girder, cable anchorage device, precast slab, cast-in-site closing concrete and stayed cables.
