Abstract

AbstractIt is shown, that the isotopic shifts of the excitonic series in Cu2O crystals are caused by changes of the intra‐ and interband electron (hole)—phonon scattering, related to the change of phonon amplitude with isotopic mass. Estimates of the energy shifts of the excitonic series are obtained on the base of the Fröhlich electron—phonon interaction.
