Abstract

Studies were made on the variation in the isotopic abundance of the stable isotopes of Mg in terrestrial samples. Results of analyses on standard rocks, sea water, and chemical reagents showed that within the limits of the samples and of analytical error, no difference in the isotopic ratio among the terrestrial magnesium samples was established.
