Abstract

Measurements on the re-entrant spin-glass (RSG) system (Fe 65Ni 35) 1− x Mn x by full 3D neutron depolarisation and neutron small-angle scattering were presented. The spatial magnetic structure of a sample x=0.1134 and the influence of the cooling rate on the mean domain size in the RSG phase in two samples ( x=0.1140, x=0.1223) were investigated. The mean domain size showed a strong dependence of the strength and the duration of the applied magnetic field.
