Abstract

The new type of magnetoelectric effect observed at the domain walls in iron garnet films is considered. This effect manifests itself as a kind of refraction of the stripe domain structure at the charged stripe electrode. The numerical micromagnetic simulation taking into account inhomogeneity of electric field from the stripe electrode as well as magnetic anisotropy of the (210) iron garnet films reproduces the main features of the shape of the domain walls in the vicinity of the electrode edges.
