Abstract
A differential method is described for measuring the ionic conductivity of potassium chloride solutions at 3 × 109 c/s. The results reveal that a strong dispersion region exists at concentrations below 0.5 normal, which may be explained in terms of the perturbations by the applied field of a shell of water molecules surrounding the ion at a mean distance of 6 A.
