Abstract

The article is devoted to the controversial aspects related to the concept of an investigator as a participant in criminal procedural legal relations in conjunction with the problem of his powers. In the light of the author's concept, original definitions of these concepts are proposed, a new approach to differentiation and systematization of the powers of an investigator in the field of pre-trial criminal proceedings is substantiated and implemented.
