Abstract
On the basis of statistical model the phase transitions in Ni–Mn–Ga alloys under external magnetic field have been studied. A phase diagram in H – T coordinates was obtained. A shift of martensitic–austenitic and austenitic–martensitic phase transition temperatures under external magnetic field was defined. The field dependencies of strain were investigated too. Theoretical results agree well with experimental data.
