Abstract

The effect of the intermediate annealing on the abnormal grain growth after the light tension work and the grain coarsing after the medium rolling work (30-50% red) of Al with various impuritis and Al-Mg alloys were investigated. It was found out that only when the intermediate annealing temperature was high, the large grain size after the abnormal grain growth is appeared, and this was not caused by the impurity but the grain size before the light tension The grain coarsing after the medium rolling work was observed when the intermediate annealing temperature was relatively low, and this was caused by the impurities contained (perhaps Fe in Al).
