Abstract
A hybrid $10\times 10$ MIMO antenna covering seven-bands is proposed for 4G/5G applications, where the corresponding 4G (2-antenna array) and 5G (8-antenna array) antenna modules are respectively responsible for the GSM850/900/DCS1800/PCS1900/UMTS/LTE2300/2500 and C-band. In this design, for the 4G application, the short-circuiting belt and the matching circuit are employed to reduce the longitudinal dimension and broaden the bandwidth, and both the return loss(S11) and isolations(S21) are improved by using the hybrid method of combining the additional M-strip extended-ground with the neutralization line(NL) techniques. The simulated whose return loss, isolation and radiation patterns are all as predicted.
