The Investigation Of Atatürk University Kazim Karabekir And Erzincan Faculties Of Education, Department Of Fine Arts Education, Art Of Music Teaching In Terms Of Foundation And Development In The Process Of Training Music Teachers

Abstract

In the process of training music teachers which started by 1924 by the foundation of Musiki Muallim Mektebi, two arts of music teaching have been founded in the constitution of Ataturk University. The first is Kazim Karabekir Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Art of Music Teaching, which was founded in 1992. It has 12 professors, 147 students, and 3 graduate students. The second is Erzincan Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Art of Music Teaching, which started activities of education and in- struction in 2003. It has 2 professors and 44 students.
