Abstract

Uses a case study to describe how, in one institution, senior management have supported a working group to address the need for innovation in teaching, learning and assessment. Identifies the structure of the group, the duties of group members and the outcomes achieved over the three‐year life of the group. Also attempts to identify whether the success of the group and the use of learning sets to support individual research projects are related.
