Abstract

AbstractArchitects Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu situate the output of their practice, Neri&Hu, in spaces of liminality, subverting traditional typologies of buildings and the city, and blurring the boundary conditions. Their spatial and material investigations use Shanghai as a palimpsest microcosm, its historical, cultural and contemporary architectural accretions there to be reimaged and manipulated.
