Abstract

The convolution (folding) procedure is applied in order to explore the response of Zn isotopes to the energy‐spectra of the supernova neutrinos. At first, double differential cross sections are calculated in the context of the quasi‐particle random phase approximation (QRPA) and, then, the cross sections obtained are folded with reliable energy distributions of supernova neutrino spectra. This leads to folded double, integrated, cumulative and total cross sections describing the nuclear response of the Zn isotopes as supernova neutrino detectors. Preliminary results of convoluted neutral‐current neutrino‐nucleus cross sections for the 64Zn isotope are presented.
