Abstract

Overall these decades we have witnessed uncertainty and dynamic change which has increased the rate of crime in our country. Religiously, the Indian women create life, guard and strengthen it, but in the wake of westernization, industrialization, and civilization, there has been a rapid growth in crime done by the women due to different issues related to marital discoordination, disorganization, and managing families, high aspiration level and frustration where they are failing in this coping process and are getting involved in criminal activities and the managerial area of it. This article gathers the approach to the conditions faced by the women Prisoners in Indian society established on the base of different international universal declarations applicable to the women living in any country even in these crucial days of Covid-19 where their rights are frequently not fulfilled by prisons regimes that are dominantly designed by men for male prisoners.
