Abstract

The Registry of the International Criminal Court (ICC) is responsible for the non‐judicial aspects of the administration of the Court – the judicial aspects being the responsibility of the Judges – and for ‘servicing of the Court’. This article examines three instances in which the Registry of the ICC has specific obligations with respect to: (1) victims’ and witnesses’ protection and support; (2) legal aid for defendants and victims; and (3) the organization of family visits to detained persons.
