Abstract

This paper describes current arrangements in Sweden for obtaining access to the holdings of the Swedish National Archive of Sound and Moving Images (ALB). Starting from a definition of the legal deposit position in Sweden, the author assesses the level of interlending and ALB's responsabilities, the restrictions on lending which result from copyright legislation, and also indicates some of the practical aspects of interlending commercially sensitive materials.
