Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of studying the typological similarities and differences between the musical cultures of the West and the East. In light of the increasing interaction between countries in socio-cultural terms, these issues are becoming increasingly important and relevant in the modern world. Studying the interaction between Eastern and Western musical cultures, the author reveals aspects of the specificity of musical thinking in different countries, features of its formation and patterns of development.
